Tottenham make reported Fernandes enquiry

Tottenham have reportedly made an enquiry about Mateus Fernandes. Ben Jacobs said on The Last Word on Spurs, as relayed by To the Lane and Back, that the North London club have looked at the West Ham midfielder.

Jacobs described Manchester United or Paris Saint-Germain as likelier destinations. To the Lane and Back says Fernandes is valued at around £80m to £85m, a formidable price for Spurs to take on.

The account reports no negotiations, bid or agreement involving Tottenham.
