PSG reportedly contact Fernandes's representatives

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly contacted Mateus Fernandes's representatives, a step beyond the earlier claim that they were monitoring him.

TEAMtalk says Manchester United have also spoken to the West Ham midfielder's camp. The outlet describes United as the frontrunners and says Fernandes is keen on a move to Old Trafford.

That is contact around the player, not a deal with West Ham. No club talks, bid or agreement are reported.
