Newcastle linked with Fernandes

Newcastle United are reportedly tracking Mateus Fernandes. That adds another club to the list, but not another step towards a transfer.

Claret&Hugh names Newcastle alongside Arsenal and Aston Villa among the clubs following the West Ham midfielder. The same article repeats that Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have contacted his representatives.

It reports no Newcastle approach to West Ham, talks, bid or agreement. For now, this is interest and nothing more.
