Villa fee agreement reported as Summerville prefers Roma

Aston Villa have reportedly agreed a fee with West Ham for Crysencio Summerville, but they still need the winger to say yes. Luca Cerchione of OcW Sports, as cited by West Ham Zone, says Villa have the club agreement without Summerville’s approval.

West Ham Zone reports that Summerville instead prefers Roma and has agreed personal terms on a five-year contract. Roma have the opposite problem. The outlet says West Ham have rejected two bids, with £45m described as insufficient against a reported asking price of about £50m.

Villa are said to have convinced West Ham. Roma are said to have convinced Summerville. Until one club manages both, there is no completed transfer.
