Nuno backs London Stadium crowd to drive West Ham on

West Ham's 6-0 win over Wrexham put them back on top of the Championship. Nuno Espírito Santo's more revealing point was what a crowd of 59,712 could mean beyond one very comfortable night.

Speaking to BBC Radio London, Nuno called London Stadium and its roughly 60,000 supporters a major strength that West Ham should use. The ground has not always felt like much of a fortress, but his point was simple: a winning team backed by that crowd should have an edge.

He was careful not to dress the scoreline or a fourth straight victory up as a statement. Nuno said the forwards' goals, improving combinations and energy from the bench should build confidence, while stressing that the Championship is long and the next test will be harder.
