Solomon says he is ready after illness before Southampton
Manor Solomon knows Southampton goalkeeper Daniel Peretz well. He still wants to score past his friend when West Ham host the Saints on Saturday.
Solomon told West Ham's official site that they have played together for Israel and remain close. He also said an illness after international duty had left him short of energy in recent weeks, but he now feels ready to help West Ham fully. He believes his partnership with Morato and his links with the other attackers are improving.
Solomon expects a strong Southampton side that likes to press. After West Ham's 1-0 win at Swansea, he said the team had shown it could also fight without the ball. That is his assessment ahead of the match, with the starting XI still to be announced.
