Nuno says break gave West Ham time to work before QPR
The break bought West Ham time, and Nuno Espírito Santo says they used it to recover and work on problems exposed at Millwall. Friday's home match against QPR will test the work.
In his Thursday press conference, reported by West Ham's official site, Nuno said the full squad had returned from international duty and called QPR a tough opponent. He said West Ham's first half in the 2-2 draw at Millwall was not good, though he was much happier with the second. He praised Dinos Mavropanos's goals but said the side still needs to improve its defending at set pieces.
