Hull reported close to signing Targett

West Ham's hopes of signing Matt Targett now look slim. West Ham Zone, citing the Daily Mail, reports that Hull City are close to signing the free-agent left-back, with a medical due before a two-year contract is signed.

West Ham had only been reported to be considering Targett. The report does not say that the medical or signing has happened, so Hull appear to be in front without the transfer being complete.
