Fenerbahçe say Álvarez has been told their decision

Fenerbahçe have made their call on Edson Álvarez. The useful detail, rather inconveniently, is the one they have left out.

Technical director Zeki Murat Göle, quoted by Takvim and reported by Inside Futbol, said the club's technical staff had made a decision and communicated it to Álvarez. He did not say what that decision was.

Inside Futbol expects Álvarez to leave Fenerbahçe and return to West Ham at the end of his loan. The outlet reports that the deal includes a purchase option worth €22m to West Ham, but there is no confirmation that Fenerbahçe will activate it.
