Veltman says Swansea win made demanding week worthwhile

Joël Veltman says West Ham's 1–0 win at Swansea City made a demanding week of travel and quick turnarounds worthwhile. It was their second away Championship win in less than 72 hours, after beating Lincoln City 6–0.

Speaking to West Ham's official site, Veltman said the team limited Swansea in open play and defended well when the hosts pressed for an equaliser. He felt West Ham could have made the finish easier by scoring a second goal, but took satisfaction in the clean sheet and three points.
