Souček reflects on injury return after QPR draw

Tomáš Souček was back for 45 minutes against QPR after five months out with an ankle ligament injury, and he says he needs more playing time before he is fully sharp. He thanked West Ham supporters for their welcome but told West Ham TV his performance must improve.

Souček also questioned the first-half penalty awarded for his challenge on Paul Smyth. He said he won the ball and believed any contact was outside the area. Nicolas Madsen scored from the spot, before Jarrod Bowen equalised in a 1–1 draw. Souček said he was glad West Ham took a point but wants the team to start winning again.
