Engels delivery brings West Ham level before break
Arne Engels supplied the cleanest moment of West Ham's first half, delivering the set piece Konstantinos Mavropanos headed in to make it 2-2 at Bolton.
Jarrod Bowen had opened the scoring for West Ham and Ruben Rodrigues converted a penalty for Bolton before Mavropanos restored parity around the half-hour mark.
West Ham Zone reported that Sky Sports co-commentator Dave Edwards called Engels's cross “fantastic” and “world-class”. Grand language, perhaps, but the delivery had the pace and shape to create the equaliser.
