Austbø expected back as Areola nurses calf problem

Edvin Austbø is expected back in West Ham's squad for the trip to Millwall after his Fulham omission was put down to selection rather than punishment.

The West Ham Way, as reported by West Ham Zone, says Nuno Espírito Santo left the midfielder out to reward players who had impressed against Southampton. The same report says the decision was unrelated to Austbø's comments about West Ham eventually selling him.

Alphonse Areola remains a separate availability concern. A West Ham club source reportedly told The West Ham Way that the goalkeeper has a calf problem and should return to training very soon.
