Antonio found guilty of failing to identify Lamborghini driver

Michail Antonio has been found guilty of failing to identify the driver of his Lamborghini after a suspected motoring offence in central London. The former West Ham striker now faces the prospect of an automatic driving ban.

Uxbridge Magistrates' Court heard that the car was involved in an incident on Pall Mall in November 2025. Antonio said he was in Manchester, had allowed the vehicle to be loaned out and did not receive the police letter seeking the driver's identity. Magistrate Ian Comfort said the panel was sure the letter had arrived and found that Antonio failed to respond as legally required.

Antonio already had six penalty points following a July 2025 conviction for driving without insurance. ESPN.co.uk also reports that he is due to stand trial next March over a separate allegation that he failed to respond to West Midlands Police about a speeding offence. That charge remains pending.
