Souček signs West Ham contract until 2028

Tomáš Souček has signed a new West Ham contract through summer 2028. The club's announcement settles the question raised by earlier reports of talks.

Souček called West Ham his home and said he wants to help the club return to the Premier League. In a separate club interview, he also spoke about an FA Cup run. Director of Player Recruitment Nils Koppen said keeping senior leaders was a summer priority, while Nuno Espírito Santo called Souček an important figure in the dressing room. Those ambitions and assessments explain why the club values the deal, but the signed contract is the news.
