West Ham linked with Neto in unsourced report

West Ham have been linked with Botafogo goalkeeper Neto, but The West Ham Way does not identify a source for the claim. That leaves very little to assess beyond the player's name.

The outlet itself says a move does not make sense while Alphonse Areola and Mads Hermansen remain at the club. It suggests a loan or free transfer could become relevant only if West Ham later need a goalkeeper. That is the writer's assessment, not reported transfer activity.

No contact, talks, bid or agreement are reported.
