Mohamed Alì Zoma Transfer
Will Mohamed Alì Zoma join West Ham? Reports say Nürnberg rejected a summer offer of around €20m and refused to negotiate. Hull City are now also said to have bid a similar amount, but there is no reported fresh West Ham approach.
No-Guff Summary
- Reported West Ham bid: Accounts relayed by Sport Witness put the summer offer at around €20m.
- New rival: TuttoMercatoWeb says Hull City also offered roughly €20m for Zoma.
- Nürnberg’s answer: Both bids were reportedly rejected without negotiations, and nothing here shows West Ham have returned.
Nürnberg reportedly blocked West Ham Zoma bid
BILD reports that West Ham offered up to €20m for Mohamed Alì Zoma, only for Nürnberg to block the forward’s departure. Sport Witness relays the German newspaper’s account, which says Marseille made a slightly lower offer.
Zoma and his representatives were reportedly disappointed and had wanted the move to London Stadium. Nürnberg coach Miroslav Klose said the 22-year-old’s reaction was normal and that he has continued to train well.
The reported bid was rejected. There is no evidence here of a fresh one.
