Revell says Casey has made his case for league minutes

Kaelan Casey has given Stevenage manager Alex Revell something to think about, but the West Ham loanee is still waiting for his first League One appearance for the club.

Inside Futbol reports that Casey played in both of Stevenage's EFL Trophy matches and provided an assist against Walsall. Revell told Stevenage's official channel, in remarks quoted by Inside Futbol, that those performances have strengthened Casey's case for chances in the league.

A chance is the point here. Casey was an unused substitute in Stevenage's reported 1-0 league win over Wigan Athletic, and Revell did not promise him a starting place.
