West Ham reportedly preparing Evander bid

West Ham World says West Ham are interested in Evander and claims the club are preparing an official bid for the FC Cincinnati attacking midfielder. Preparing one is not making one. The report does not say an offer has been submitted or that an agreement is in place.

That follows West Ham Zone’s earlier report that West Ham had made contact over the 28-year-old. The new account again relays a valuation of around £15.4m plus add-ons and wages of about £2.1m a year. It cites Area Napoli as saying those demands have put Napoli off.

West Ham World says Evander has recorded 51 goals and 41 assists in 101 MLS appearances for FC Cincinnati and Portland Timbers. The numbers explain the interest. They do not turn a reported intention into a bid.
