West Ham reported to have bid for Austbø
West Ham have already made an offer for Viking winger Edvin Austbø, according to Football Norge, but Viking wanted more and have not received an improved bid in recent weeks.
The same report says Austbø wants the move to England while Viking would rather keep him. One reported bid is concrete. Weeks without a follow-up is the rather less exciting part.
Football Norge also says West Ham have held talks with Arsenal over Reiss Nelson as an alternative, although the attribution for that part of its report is unclear. There is no indication in the supplied account that either move is close.
