West Ham linked with free-agent Doekhi

West Ham are interested in Danilho Doekhi, according to ExWHUemployee as reported by Inside Futbol. The Union Berlin defender's contract is said to expire at the end of June, making him available without a transfer fee.

ExWHUemployee says West Ham could offer a clause allowing Doekhi to leave if the club fail to win promotion. That is a possible way to tempt him into the Championship, not a contract offer already made.

Inside Futbol says Leeds are likely to have retained their interest, but supplies no current action from them. No talks, contract offer or agreement with West Ham have been reported.
