Southampton beat West Ham 3-2 at London Stadium

Southampton ended West Ham's nine-match unbeaten run with a 3-2 win at London Stadium. Three first-half goals left the Hammers chasing the game, and Tomáš Souček's stoppage-time strike came too late to rescue a point.

Kuryu Matsuki put Saints ahead in the second minute and James Bree made it 2-0 in the 11th. Kyle Walker-Peters pulled one back for West Ham after 24 minutes, but Lewis Dobbin restored Southampton's two-goal lead before the break. Souček scored in added time.

West Ham would have gone top with a win. Instead, Southampton left east London with all three points and the unbeaten run was over.
