Cardiff face defensive shortage before West Ham visit

Cardiff's options at the back are thinning before West Ham arrive on Wednesday. Brian Barry-Murphy said Will Fish came off against Wolves with a sore hamstring, though he did not know how serious the problem was. He said Krystian Bielik had trained as his groin injury improved, but could not say whether he would be ready.

Wales Online reports that Gabriel Osho has one match left on a suspension, while Dylan Lawlor and Calum Chambers are expected to remain out until after the November international break. Barry-Murphy also said Alex Robertson has a slight Achilles issue and hopes the midfielder will be fit. Several selection calls remain open, rather than eight players being confirmed out.
